I am Lucas Larkin (he/him), a queer cartoonist, game artist, and storyteller based in the Bay Area.

I am a multimedia artist and writer who specializes in character design, creating comics, story making, and concept art.

I have a B.A. in both Fine Arts and Game Design from the University of California: Santa Cruz (2026)

Outside of my artwork, I love to play Nintendo games and take long walks by the beach.

Screen Demon! (2024)

A 24-page thriller/comedy comic inspired by my love of video game myths and creepypastas. Friends Randy, Gordon, and Nel are together for a sleepover, eager to play a game that Nel had bought at a yard sale. Little did they know, the game is possessed by a SCREEN DEMON that captures Nel!

Comic was made with traditional comic making processes in mind; going from pencil and paper sketches to digital inks and colors.

safety (2024)

A personal comic exploring frustration, anxiety, and melancholy that I feel as a pre transition trans man.

Safety is a mixed media project that combines both photography/photo editing and digital illustration.

Starbaby (2023-ongoing)

A heartfelt story following two newborn stars: Starbaby and Lumos, each with their own overwhelming fears that manifest into an amalgamation known as Dark Matter. They journey through the world together and conquer their fears and transform them into something special.

Starbaby started out as a storyboard pitch for a class and has since then turned into an ongoing multimedia project that I use to explore themes of queerness and self-love.
